Eretz Yisroel is in Galus. If you think that you have reached Geula and only Chutz L’Eretz is in Geula than you are living an unbelievable lie. There is no coincidence that your comments Dov and those of your readers come between Parshas Achrei-Kedoshim and Parshas Emor which all talk about how we must not mimic the Nations, yet this is what Eretz Yisroel does best. Hashem says explicitly in the Torah that the land does spit out the Jews if C”V. This is possible with C”V!!! the Jews giving in to 67′ borders.
Don’t put it past your Medina Government who allows Gay Parades, and Chillul Hashems publicly. Not to mention your Ultra Orthodox and Leftwing nut jobs who together lack such common decency and manifest gut wrenching levels of Sinas Chinam.
The Lubavitcher Rebbe never once spoke about the Jews of Chutz L’Eretz suffering the way you do and thank G-d we have the assurance of the Tzaddik Yesod Olam, the Nasi HaDor till Moshiach comes, may it be immediately.
Your propaganda tactic to scare Jews to make Aliyah is very clever and I hope that the Israel Agency gives you a percentage kick back for your hard work.
Every word, every prophecy that the Lubavitcher Rebbe said has come to fruition. It is your words of “pain, death, and destruction” against his. The Jews must reveal G-dliness in every single square inch of the world to prepare it for Moshiach. This is why the Lubavitcher Rebbe told us to stay put and work here. If he said go to “Eretz Yisroel” you would have had the largest aliyah in history that would have trippled the aliyah numbers from 1948 till today.
At least we can agree that we both believe that Moshiach is coming today.
The Nasi HaDor is described as someone whose words of Torah influence the entire Jewish People. This means that Jewish Leaders worldwide look to him for guidance as well as the Jewish People. What leader did that and does that in this generation? The generation has not ended because this is the 7th Generation and all seven’s are precious. The 8th generation is above nature as everything 8 is and is the generation of Moshiach. Outside of Ponevitz, almost every Jewish leader religious, non religious, leaders of the world, prime ministers and army generals, Sephardic Geodlim, Chief Rabbis, Chassidic Rebbes, everyone came to 770. The Rebbe is still the Nasi because the Nasi is not limited to a physical plane just like Rabbeinu HaKadosh whose family was Yotzei on his Kiddush even after Histalkus. No Jewish leader has replaced what the Rebbe did and continues to do. Jews are not bound to this physical limited world. R’ Arush is a visionary, a talmid chacham, and what the Alter Rebbe would call a Benoni which is what the rest of the world calls a Tzaddik. He still is not the Nasi as he does not lead all Jews including the leaders of different groups.
If a Tzaddik, especially the Nasi HaDor’s influence and effect on Klal Yisroel ends after Histalkus then we would have been extinct at the crossing of the Jordan because Moshe’s hastalkus. Torah is eternal and the Zohar says Hashem, the Torah, and Klal Yisroel are all one and the Nasi is the Head of this Supernal Body.
We still have a head and just like the Erev Rav said to give up after day 40 started, we are sitting here almost 20 years after Gimmel Tammuz and the Erev Rav says give up cause the Moshe of the Generation is gone.
since 1994 the world has been more spiritually impacted than the entire 50 years of the Rebbe’s physical presence in this world.
Who is the Nasi now? Its not insane that we believe our Rebbe its the Nasi even after Histalkus which has backing in the Gemara, Zohar, and Kisve Arizal, its insane that no one has the emunah in the Tzaddik to lay claim that their leader is a completely perfect Tzaddik whose every word is Emes.
The Sichas that you refer to from 5749-5752 are all very complex and can not be taken out of context. The Rebbe was trying to explain that Moshiach is a real person of flesh and blood not some sort of theory. When it is a theory then the idea that the founding of Medinas Yisrael in 1948 is part of Moshiach which it is NOT.
For thousands of years Jews misinterpreted the words of our Holy Prophets and other Holy Ones who interpret and clarify what is occurring. Pirke Avos Perk Gimmel says:
Rabbi Chanina the son of Dosa would say: One whose fear of sin takes precedence to his wisdom, his wisdom endures. But one whose wisdom takes precedence to his fear of sin, his wisdom does not endure.
He would also say: One whose deeds exceed his wisdom, his wisdom endures. But one whose wisdom exceeds his deeds, his wisdom does not endure.
Our current state of affairs does not absolve us of the Torah or Mitzvos. In addition to flooding the internet with doomsday prophecies, Torah and Mitzvos must be our top priority. We think we can do this on our own, we will be meet the same demise as the Tribe of Menasheh who miscalculated “Yitzas Mitzraim”. The Midrash says they were killed in battle and are the “Dry Bones” that Yehezkel encountered. Moshe Rabbeinu and the Moshe Rabbeinu in every generation is the only way to success and this is not a Chassidic Idea. This is straight from the Gemara! Mordechai B’Doro K’Moshe B’Doro. Every generation has a Moshe Rabbeinu and we must follow his lead as it is the only way to connect to Hashem.
To say that Eretz Yisroel today is what the Rebbe meant by “opening our eyes” is a very sad dark road to nowhere.
The Rebbe wants us to learn about Moshiach and Geula so we will be prepared for what is to come.
The Alter Rebbe said that the Moshiach you want isnt coming and the Moshiach that is coming you dont want.
Gevurah will manefest above Chessed and Bais Shammai will be the halachic law. We will not live a life relaxing under the date palm, we will toil with sweat in the field of Torah and Mitzvos with G-d completely revealed.
You say that Chassidic Rebbe’s are fallible. If they are fallible then its clear they are not a Rebbe, and if they are a Rebbe then it is clear they are not fallible.
The Lubavitcher Rebbe is a perfect tzaddik and everything he every did or said is Hashem will as he was a chariot to G-d. The lack of feeling Jews have towards their leaders who they consider fallible is not the gauge which Lubavitcher use to measure the Rebbe. The Gemara describes Tzaddikim as well as the Zohar and we believe with complete faith that Hashem sent the Rebbe to awaken the Jews after the Shoah and be the final Nasi of Galus. We will see that even the sichas of 5752 will bear fruit just like the first 40 years of Sichos and Maamarim.
